I had to do a project of my favorite hobby in my
Spanish Class.

1) What country do you live in?
USA

2) What do you predominantly collect, Western (
Disney, WB, Bluth, Film Roman, etc. ) or Eastern
( Anime ) animation art?
Anime (when pertaining to cels)
American (when pertaining to EVERYTHING else I
collect!!)

3) What makes up the majority of your
collection? Production Cels, Sketches, Gengas,
Storyboards, etc?
Truthfully . . . Transformers and Barbies (close
tie . . about 270-300+ of each).
Cels - Mostly Production Cels (+1 over
Sketches/Gengas)

4) What shows/movies/characters do you
predominantly collect?

Fushigi Yuugi - Chichiri Mostly
Inu Yasha - Sesshoumaru

5) When selecting your pieces, what do you
generally look for? ( close-ups, action poses,
character interactions, etc. )

Close ups and facial expressions as well as the
quality of the cel (color, drawing, etc)

6) Where do you get the majority of your
animation art? ( Online Anime shops, Online
Anime dealers, local comic stores, local anime
shops, local animation art galleries ).

Tie between Online Anime shops or Ebay.

7) On the average, about how much do you spend
on animation art a month?

Used to be no more than $20, recently I had spent
more than $300-400!! *gulp* Going to have to
slow down this month.

8) How long have you been collecting?

Since May 5 2002, few days after my B-Day.
5 months, 10 days.

9) What is the most you have ever paid for one
piece? What show/character was it?

$530 - Sesshoumaru Portrait Shot (Inu Yasha)

9) Why do you collect animation art? What draws
you to it?

Now this one can be a toughy! In a nutshell . . .
  A. I like to own a peice of my favorite Anime.
  B. They look very nice and elegant.
  C. They cost a lot more to make and much more
time is put into making them.
  D. I had always had a thing for art.
