My mother still shudders and her hands get clamy 
every time "Wick" (her short for "Wicked Queen") 
comes on the screen. She can't watch the scene 
where "Wick" makes herself old. There's really 
something about the character - a psycological 
element that I don't think Disney has touched 
again ever since. (Although Scar, from Lion King, 
had some shadows of "Wick" in him.)

Because of my mother's reaction to "Wick" I didn't
see Snow White until I was older and so my "Wick" 
became Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty! @_@

Like Honest John, I would SO love to have a cel 
of Maleficent. . . . Never happening on my 
budget, though.
