Overall, I don't like the show, but there are 
some episodes I just love. Case in point, a more 
recent one about saying $#!^ on TV. I'm sorry, I 
was dying laughing as the teacher was going over 
the appropriate and inappropriate grammatical use 
of the word $#!^ with the kids. (*laughing hard*)

But in any case, I also think the torn paper idea 
was a good one! Even if you don't like the show, 
you have to admit that the torn paper created a 
unique look for it. I was in a way reminded of 
claymation, like "Gumby", which was a favorite of 
mine while growing up. ^_^
