It is very, very wrong to go against ebay's policies. The person 
who won the auction is entitled to the item. You went against 
policy - this person has every right to be upset with you. 

This person also has a right to leave negative feedback. 
Accusing them of being ungreatful for freebie things they don't 
care for is really low.
