I couldnt have said anything better myself, about
this board, and the community in general. These
days it seems like there's always someone who
likes to play the devil's advocate. Even if you
ARE respectful, you still get flamed if someone
out there even slightly disagrees. There are
some people who think they're right no matter
what, and that their view is king.

"The hierarchy is not
only disgusting, it's severely limited and close-
minded. I hate to say it, but this board is like
the online equivalent of high school. It's clique-
ish. I should hope most of you hold yourselves to
higher standards than that."

I also agreed with this wholeheartedly. I have
met some wonderful people here. But I must say
certain people seem to throw their weight around
carelessly/needlessly. And they also seem to
have their own fanclubs/lackeys for whatever
reason, so they always have support. Very much
like cheerleaders or jocks in a high school
environment. No offnese if any of you were in
that group in hs...I just speak from my own
experiences ^_~

I know many many people, some "veterans" (that
sounds so dumb when you're talking about
something as piddly as cel collecting) who will
not post on this board simply because of the
frquent antics that go on here. I hear about it
all the time via private email or chat. It's just
gotten way out of hand, and when you leave a
message on a board...anyone can pick it apart and
scrutinize it. Just asking for trouble there. I
could go on and on and on about my issues with
the community...but in all honesty Id just get
flamed or whispered about? Haha, anyways, there
ARE some great things here. I've met some
awesome folks, and gotten a lot of help. Ahh the
balance of life is strong ~_~
