This really is a pain...
Some people don't understand that postage from
some countries are very expensive. I'm in London
now, and if I try to sell something to Hong Kong,
I'm pretty sure they'll be feeling suspicious for
my postage charges too. I guess the best thing to
do is give estimated prices for shipping on your
auction page to main continents and countries
such as US, Europe, Asia. That way, they can't
accuse you of cheating. (once I ended up giving
the buyer a link to the PO rates table, told him
the weight and asked him to work it out for
himself to prove that I wasn't cheating)
I hate the way that this sort of customers
discourage sellers from international auctions
>_< Only every now and then I manage to persuade
a US seller to ship to UK, and I'm pretty sure
it's mostly because of bad experiences.
Also, if someone backs out of an auction because
of shipping charges, it's a perfectly good reason
to let eBay know - not only to get your fees
back, but also this person may have done it
before/ will do the same again on other sellers.
So don't let them go lightly!
