I have noticed that a few series tend to stay 
really highly priced.  But, some series that 
werent very popular that have gotten some 
airtime, are now extremely high.  I have had to 
cut way back on cel collecting just because I 
too cant handle the prices for my favorite shows 
anymore.  Id rather pay 400$ for a custom made 
doll, or a costume, or new clothes, etc.  Its 
getting harder and harder for me to drop 500$ 
here and there on cels.  Im not well off enough 
for that, even tho in the past I had myself 
fooled into thinking I was ^^;;.  But, as said 
above..it's a business.  Some dealers will have 
high prices...some wont, for various reasons.  
Also as stated above...if you want the nicer 
cels..you really do have to be willing to pay.  
I am not..not right now..at least for anything 
other than exact wishlist cels.  I would really 
love some Inuyasha cels...but I absolutely 
refuse to pay the prices they seem to reach /:O. 

The seller's market is also really really bad 
right now, which is hurting a lot of 
collectors.  Whereas before, if we wanted to buy 
higher end cels and needed some extra money, we 
could sell a little.  Now, you cant give away 
perfectly A-grade shots..even with freebies. 
Dealers are even suffering sale wise.  So, a lot 
of people are forced out of the competition 
because of that.  I'll just wait it out, and 
perhaps I'll be better off later.  Meanwhile, 
I'll just buy little knick knacks and dolls til 
the cel world is safe again, hahah :)
