Yeah, I completely agree that there are always
good cels out there, if you're 1) lucky enough
to find what you're looking for and 2) able to
pay the sometimes rediculous prices. But that
really doesn't have much to do with the "ethics"
of overpricing items that are, from an expert
from a certain series's point of view, worth far
less than people sometimes want to try and sell
them for. Everybody I'm sure has their favorite
shows out there and know everything possible
about it. This is how we figure out how much
things from it should be worth. But when others
just try to make money from selling cels rather
than enjoying what it really means to be in this
business, then I think the real point is lost on
them. Of course, as buyers, we have the choice
whether or not to actually pay for something
that is clearly overpriced or not. If you want
to pay 10x more than a cel is really worth, then
that is certainly your choice... I'm just
interested in hearing what other people have to
say about this issue, whether you think it's a
big deal or not so big at all. I'm kinda
neutral in pretty much everything about this
hobby, but somethings strike me as being more
interesting when I'm in these moods of boredom.
haha =P
