I'm so glad you asked that question, because I'm 
new to this addiction too, and have wondered how 
many people are willing to spend waaaaaaayy more 
than I am for these gorgeous pieces of plastic 
art.  :)  I usually spend around $30-40 for my 
cels, but I notice that I too am inching my 
limits up as I go along.   I really would love 
to spend more, but I have 2 kids to feed and a 
husband who would mock if I went crazy like I'd 
like to!  :)  G Gundam is the show that got me 
hooked on anime, and I'm lucky because it's not 
too popular and there are lots of cels out 
there.  So I'm getting quite a few I like for 
not much money.  (Though now that I've got 
some "okay" cels, I'm starting to learn which 
cels are the "great" cels and I think I'm gonna 
start laying out bigger amounts of cash for a 
few of those... but still not the 3 figures 
levels... I'll save those dreamy cels to ask for 
as Christmas gifts from my husband; then he'll 
be an accomplice in my addiction! ;)

I did recently branch out and buy a Cowboy Bebop 
cel and wondered if some of you "long-timers" 
could help me identify the episode it comes 
from.  I got it within my cheapskate budget, 
which surprised me.  I realize it isn't anyone's 
dream cel of Spike -- his eyes are closed -- but 
I was so drawn to the motion of the cel and the 
sweet smile on his face, I had to have it. I 
haven't received the cel yet, so I'm going to 
try to attach the auction photo of it.  Any 
background to what Spike is doing would be 
appreciated!  :)
