I think pricing depends very much on the series 
you're collecting from. My normal price cap is 
$500 if I see a cel a really like from a series 
that's in that price range I'm probably  going to 
buy it. If I can. So far $500 is also the most 
I've spent on a cel. 

In some cases though there really is no limit on 
what I would spend. I'm willing to spend in the 
thousands for a few of the cels on my wishlist.

It all depends on how much you're going to love 
the piece of art. If you'll love and cherish it 
forever then it should be worth it to you to 
spend the money. If you have the money available 
to you then why not?
