(*laugh*) I don't know that there is another cel
in my collection that I could go on about at that
much length. Such is definitely a GOOD thing.
I'm not going to pretend it's easy to caption
everything the way I do. The caption for that one
was easy to write, but it is not always easy. It
takes LOTS of time, which I don't always have to
spare. I also (like Robert) usually collect
faster than I have time to scan, not to mention
caption and update.
Captioning everything is hard again because (like
Remi) I think saying the same thing over and over
is boring to type, much less read. Unless it's
for comic value of some kind, I aim to give each
cel a unique caption. However, some cels truly
don't have much to be said about them. No weird
stories. No overly special scene. Do I not like
those cels? (*shakes head*) I wouldn't have
bought them if they meant nothing, but if you're
talking relative to my others, you have a lot
better chance at getting one of those from me
than Larva and Garline.
I should mention that most of my cels have but
one caption ever written for them. I have full
backups of my site saved and even if I rearrange
the cels (which I do fairly frequently) I simply
let the captions follow the cels. Minor tweaking
happens now and again, but that's usually it. So
I'm really a bit lazier than I look about the
captions. ^_~
In the end, a lack of captions has never made me
think a collector doesn't care about their cels,
and many oldbie collectors don't seem interested
in captioning their galleries, either for privacy
or lack of time. There are certain things I don't
say about my cels also. What we have to say about
our cels -- however much or little -- is one of
the things that makes each gallery unique.
