It is legal in the UK and other countries. these
rules obviously do not apply there.
The US government does not have mandate to pass
laws which govern whether or not VISA allow
merchants to charge surcharges in other countries.
Whilst it may be a US based company, i'd imagine
that law is to protect American consumers & has
no application outside the USA. |
