I've been following this thread(s) and so we've 
got this so far:

1) Avery posts really upset about her cel being 
bent.  Claims horrible packaging job, blames 
Debbye and USPS.

2) Many people reply to offer advice on packaging 
and consolation.

3) Debbye replies, refutes Avery's statement, says 
packaging was secure. Cel insured.  Contacted 
Avery privately through email.

4) People speak up to back Debbye's packing 
skills.

5) People speak up to say Avery was in right to 
post.

6) People speak up to say she was wrong because 
she said things that would tarnish Debbye's rep.

7) Avery speaks up to say she didn't attack 
Debbye.  Says it was directed against postal 
service only.

8) People speak up to say she was contradictory 
and offered excerpts of Avery's statements.

9) People speak up to say Avery was right to post 
about her cel being damaged.

Have I got that right so far?
Okay.... after having dug through the threads 
since I wasn't doin anything better on Sunday any 
ways..
Here's my interpretation as a non-partisan, 
non-biased third party but is solely my own 
opinion so if you don't like it, you can #)^@ it.

Avery made some emotional comments. In her right 
because she was upset about her cel. Anyone would 
be. BUT from her original comments, I got the 
impression she WAS blaming Debbye's packing skills 
as contributing to the cel's damage. It really 
sounded like it was the crappiest pack job 
ever. She goes on to vent against the US postal 
service. Later on, Avery says she doesn't hold 
Debbye responsible for the damage, she loves her. 
(to paraphrase) She hates the post office. 
I think that's sort of where the problem lies. The 
people defending Avery are saying she's in her 
right to post. Which I think she is, everyone has 
a right to talk about their feelings and what 
happened to their cel. But the people defending 
Debbye are pointing out something very clearly 
too. Her packaging apparently is much better than 
Avery made it out to be in her original post. So 
they are talking about mis-representation on 
Avery's part. That mis-representation which could 
lead to problems with reputation since so many 
people read the forum and know the involved 
people. And Avery contradicts herself clearly by 
doing an about-face about Debbye. First she says 
Debbye packs horribly and that contributed to her 
cel being damage. Later on she says that it wasn't 
the packing, it was US postal service. I was 
confused by that at first and I think some people 
noticed it too.

Does that sound like the score to date?

IMHO this should have been settled entirely 
privately with MAYBE a thread about packing with 
no one mentioned. But there have been tons of 
packing threads in the past if you check the 
archives. Once it became public and it was very 
emotional it became an all out screaming war with 
everyone taking sides it seems like. Every "side" 
has its points but I have to give props to 
"Debbye's side" for being more rational and adult 
about it. Its easier to take someone seriously if 
they're not screaming or crying. 
OH and while I'm here... LEARN TO USE PARAGRAPHS 
PEOPLE! Punctuation is GOOD!! ^_^;

OI this is getting long and I'm sure I'll be burnt 
to a crisp by someone so I'd better get into my 
flame-retardant suit now. ^_^;;;;;
