It's this attitude that really bugs me. (Mon Jun 25 16:45:19 2001 )

I realize that a little resentment can develop
from long-time posters towards other, more recent
ones. I also realize that frendships and biases
develop over time, but there isn't some sort of
pecking order in effect. If Avery has hurt Debbye
and Misa somehow by simply stating what, in all
fairness, appears to be a fact, at least from her
point of view, maybe it's because she has some
valid points. No one likes to be proven wrong or
made to look bad. But in all honesty, I didn't
see ANYTHING in her posts that seemed to
be "dissing". The fact of the matter is that a
very valuable(both monetarily and emotionally)
cel was damaged in shipping. The question does
beg to be asked that if it was packaged a bit
safer, would it still have been damaged? I think
all Avery was trying to say with her origional
post was that people should try and be a bit
careful when they ship these things. I didn't get
the impression that she was, in any way,
attacking Debbye. And as to Misa's claim
that "We" all know who "animiko@animiko.com" is,
I would like to know who exactly this "We" is.
I'm sure I'm not the only person who had no clue
about this until the posts stating that fact. In
all fairness, I don't think any of us are naive
enough to believe that ANYONE is going to stop
kissing up to Debbye and trying to get her to
part with her cels just because of one getting
damaged in transit in part due to her packaging
methods. I resent the implication that Avery will
have a hard time getting cels she wants due to
her not sucking up to Misa and Debbye. My advice
to Avery is to hang in there, and keep posting
what's on her mind. If people won't sell to her,
just wait. Eventually, every collector hits a
slump and needs money. That cell that Collector A
wouldn't part with today, will probably be that
much cheaper a few months down the road, when
that same collector needs money for a nicer cell.

"If we shadows have offended, think but this and
all is mended..."
