But at the same time when someone emails me
and tells me point blank that they make a living
by buying stuff and selling it on ebay it does
piss me off. This person does not work, ebay is
her "job"
Since when has trading not been "work"?
I realize everyone is entitled to their own
opinion, but my opinion of someone who is simply
taking advantage of a popular show and buying up
every single cel they can get their greedy hands
on is that they are the lowest of the low.
Okay, but why? You stated quite
eloquently that you don't like this practice, but
what's your reasoning? This is simple supply and
demand. Anyone who goes into business for any
reason is, on some level, going to be "in it for
the money". I don't fault the local grocery for
stocking the most popular flavors of icecreams,
or the local Tower Records for having a million
zillion Backstreet Boys albums. So what's the
problem with trading in popular commodities?
I just don't think it's reasonable to vilify
someone making a living from your hobby. |
