Well, my own humble opinion is that we are all
'borrowing' the images from the holders of the 
copyright to the images, namely the studios.
As such, I am always happy to share... especially
images of my 'Goddess Washuu' cel. 
I do like it when people provide a reference as 
to where the cel is from, and preferrably a link
to my site, but ultimately I don't feel that I 
personally have the right to get upset about
people using the images (as the original poster 
said, though, using My images for fraudulent 
purposes is a separate matter entirely- as is 
using My image to directly break copyright-like
the guy making mousepads and selling them).
I actually /hope/ that people get enjoyment from
my images, whether it is from looking at them on
my website or downloading it to their own hard 
drive.
Also, I /love/ to use images to make little 
animations. I have many of these images which I 
have made which I will not put on my webpage
because I respect that some people would not want
to see something they own/possess/scanned
themselves on someone else's page. 
Still, it is an amusing way to pass the time and
enjoy my favorite characters.
Okay, I should probably just go on to bed now and
quit rambling at y'all.
