Yes, this is something I've always advocated. I 
never post a cel scan that shows the registration 
holes or sequence numbers. (Well, actually, I 
have but only rarely and only very close friends 
get told where those scans are. They don't get 
left up very long. ^_~) I also generally don't 
reveal the sequence numbers of my cels. I kind of 
like seeing the paint edges, so I suppose I'll 
have to be a glutton for punishment there. ^_^

Some interesting thoughts to ponder on the 
transparent vs. opaque watermarks. I was sure 
there was no way to make any kind of watermark 
look all right until I started playing with the 
colors and positioning of the transparent ones. 
Some of them actually looked "okay". Maybe I'll 
find an opaque one I like. ^_^
