LOL. Can I accumulate points to buy your cels? :P

Not completely, but a damn good way is to use an
OPAQUE watermark. I know it would look sucky, but
the reason why your watermark (and others) would
be particularly easy for me to remove is because
the guide lines are still there. [Oopps, that's
part of the technique, but anyway_] That's the
*best* way for our purposes here. I *could* remove
an opaque watermark, but it's too much damn work
and few people have the time or inclination. ^_^
Now, I had mentioned invisible digital
watermarking (like Digimarc) and stego, but I
don't recommend using those techniques for cels.
These techniques are normally used for true
intellectual property like your personal works
of art, photography, etc. And the disadvantage of
invisible watermarking, of course, is that their
not obvious and can still be ripped off to
auction, nor can you advertise your site. ^_^
Finally, in terms of cels, you can ensure that
your cel scans don't *look* like cels. Don't scan
the reg holes or the paint edges, you can even
opt to place fake digital bgs like I did... The
smart buyer, after all, asks about cel numbers
and better scans from an unknown source.
