First point: Funkotsusaishin.... if you manually hit return after you type in some text it makes your messages much easier to read. ^_~ This doesn't automatically do that for you, although it appears it will when you are typing.. :) Anyway... on to the subject at hand. I started off by buying cels from off eBay myself. I didn't know about the dealers until someone pointed them out to me (who it was, I don't remember, honestly.. but I thank whoever it was!). The first cel I bought was actually very reasonable compared to what it would bring today. A backgrounded Vegita from early Dragon Ball Z. Do I regret spending that much on it? No... Besides, the way Vegita cels are going on ebay at this time... I got it for a bargain!! ^_^ And honestly I don't regret having paid as much as I did from Mangaya (which was MUCH worse then the cel I bought off eBay.. whew, was it ever). Yes, I over spent for that one probably, but I loved the cel, so money was not an issue for me. I guess my point here is not to defend or critize... for either side of this conversation... I am simply pointing out my personal experience, since I started on ebay. Do I hold anything against the people who I have bought cels from ebay? Not in the slightest. 2 of what I consider my best cels came from ebay and am very happy to have them. But at the same time, I am very glad I was steered towards the cel dealers, or I would not have the collection I do today. :) |
