Sorry to butt in but I was curious as to what your (Funkotsusaishin) purpose is in buying cels from dealers the moment they update only to resell them. I can understand if you just bought the cel and need to sell it because of an emergancy. But this does not seem to be the case. The point that you are only doing this to help "cel newbies" is difficult to understand. If I was new to cel collecting and found out that someone is just buying cels the moment cel dealers update only to resell them and most likely make a profit, would i deal with them? Probably not. Its great that you are providing an opportunity for people to obtain cels that they missed out on. I know what that feels like believe me. But if you weren't there in the first place, we wouldn't have missed out on them...right? What bothers me is the fact that you fully intend on selling them rather than for your collection. I don't understand how you can presumably call your self a cel dealer when all you do is buy and resell cels from existing cel dealers. if you want to run a cels shop online, why don't you save your money and take trips to Japan for cels? Maybe you'll find some great stuff. Frankly, I really don't think cel collectors in general really need your help obtaining cels. Isn't the thrill of the hunt half the fun? All your doing is just adding another challenge. I don't collect DBZ cels so it doesn't really bother me too much, just what will come from this practice. I don't see how any good can come from this, most likely it will just jack up the cel prices even more. Thats why I am thankful for all the cel dealers that have not fallen to the lure of eBay and other auction sites, and all of my cel collector friends in Japan :) In conclusion, I obviously don't have a problem with people buying cels the moment a cel dealer updates. If your there at the update your entitled to them. I have a problem though with people who snatch up cels with full intent on selling them. Sorry to ramble on like that, but this is just something that REALLY irritates me. I'm guessing i'm not the only person that feels this way...right? ^_^ Just my 2 cents --Mike |
