again the respondee was only guilty of a generality..which tend not to be wise.Negative..perhaps.While generalities are not something positive and each individual should be looked at for their true selves generalities sometimes have shreads of truth.You fall in to the same trap and call him ignorant?two wrongs?and perhaps he the respondee did not intend negative overtones and perhaps you are just bringing your own subjectiveness to the dicussion?Englishmen are often acused of being reserved..and in comparasion to Americans tend to be...as do Japanese.Some cultures find emotionalness as weakness..so was this an insult?are you being ignorant by accusing somebody by your standards?bring something to the table...so we can learn |
