It seems that most points are covered from
everyone's responses, but I do hope people
understood Drac's post. Its a true one and one
that should be in the back of any collector's
minds. These are in fact discarded production
materials (most since you can't really say about
fancels & repros, reliz...however you spell it).
Damage to the product is expected. If one was so
conerned about them to "complain" or bring
attention, asking the original seller to
specifically tell you and not the deputy.
To say that the postal office is at fault for any
damages, perhaps maybe a mistake or blaming the
deputy/second hand seller. I haven't seem any
pictures. But perhaps there might not be an issue
- I haven't read all post carefully since its
become entertainment and not something that I can
readily give anyone any advice. Even if it was
underinsursed by mistake : the goods may have
arrived in the exact condition they were sent out
it and there is really no fault in the product,
even if there is a dent in the box's side. I get
dented boxes all the time, and 90% of the time the
art is still in bewildering condition from the
abuse. Simply filing claims that may not be needed
- would be a waste of time & effort.
I hope that you both can find a peacable solution
that won't damage your relationship or the joy of
collecting. Understanding. Less stubborness and
more open thought, perhaps less bickering and
perhaps productivity to move forward can begin.
Most problems I have in life are due to
miscommuncation and my own hard a** stubbornness,
which I'm glad that doesn't affect my cel hobby :)
Sorry for the long post. Off to fight the morning
traffic, just felt like posting a little thought. |
