I am posting this here just in case anyone looks
up the thread down later on down the line.

I discovered this last post almost a year ago,
which was, in turn, almsot a year after the whole
thing happened.

It was the first I'd heard of the accusation that
I'd used the hurricane fund to purchase genga. I
was to find out that others were suggesting the
same thing in gossip, just not in print.

I'm disgusted. 

Allow me to address a few things to clear this up,
once and for all.

1) The genga was not purchased with the hurricane
fund. Period. It never occured to me that posting
it 1.5 months after Ivan (when it was, in fact,
purchased right before it) would lead to an
accusation like this. I guess I really am naive.

2) All people who donated to the fund have been
paid back -- at least those that did not donate
anonymously, and would ACCEPT repayment. That's
the whole reason I saw this post -- it was during
my last attempt to find names of possible
anonymous donaters that I returned to this thread
and found this post.

3) The kind wish for my home to crumble to the
ground? Thank you. That was the first thing that
popped to mind when Hurricane Katrina slammed into me.

You'd better believe that after Katrina, I didn't
dare ask for assistance from anyone. Not even
FEMA. I sold half my collection and took a loan
out instead. I learned my lesson.

Ryu, you're the one that needs forgiveness. I am
many things, but at least I don't judge, don't
accuse others wrongly, and don't wish for the gods
to strike down my enemies. Shame on you. And shame
on all who spread this vicious lie without
bothering to find out the truth.
