...I think you're missing my point. CG can be 
anything altered or created on a computer; you're 
referring to CGI and DP are more exact forms of 
CG; CG is the genre as well as a type. It's like 
pop music; while pop in and of itself is a 
genre, "pop" is actually short for "popular 
music"; hence rap is technically "pop" as well, 
but no one calls it that, because it is 
unnecessarily nitpicking.
