dead-beat bidders - to leave neg feedback or not :P (Fri Jan 3 17:28:50 2003 )

ugh...I forgot how much I hate eBay. I just had
a lot of cels end on eBay & (they just ended
yesterday) so far I have 7 people emailing me
saying they don't want the item & won't be
paying. They changed their mind, they couldn't
retract their bid, their mother, brother, cousin,
sister, friend, girlfriend, etc. changed their
mind, they don't have the money, etc.!

My question is, should I leave them negative
feedback? If you bid on something it is a legal
contract! If I bid on something & I later decide
I don't want that is my bad luck, I still have to
pay for it and I do.

I have already told 4 people that if they don't
pay I will leave negative feedback & file non-
paying bidder reports per eBay's policy but I am
getting more & more emails. I am afraid what
will be in my inbox tonight.  ^^;;

What would you do? I have a perfect feedback
rating (the one neutral is a really old positive
from a person no longer with eBay. Now they just
leave it positive, before they converted it to
neutral :P) Should I just ignore it? I am
really paranoid about my feedback rating & I
don't want any negative or neutral. One person
has already said if I don't let them cancel they
will leave me negative feedback.

Two people have offered to pay all eBay fees,
etc. but still won't pay their bids.

I /know/ that someone else must be dealing with
this, how do you go about it? I really don't
know how to handle this as three people are
people I have dealt with before. There must be
some solution I am not seeing because I am
getting upset about it. Any & all help would be
appreciated!

If you don't want to post here, please email me
at ryen@ryen.net
Thanks!
Anna
