I suppose I'm kinda lucky. Both my parents know 
I collect. My dad is horribly clueless as to how 
much anything costs. I haven't even told him how 
much my computer cost. LOL! (He's such a 
spendthrift) He does seem to like anime. He gets 
mad when the Inuyasha episodes on Cartoon 
Network end in a cliffhanger. ^_^;; 
Unfortunately, everything anime is either Sailor 
Moon or "Cocoamon". (Yes, Cocoamon. I'm not 
complaining about the pronunciation. It's closer 
than most people get when saying "Pokemon".)

My mom knows how much I spend. She jokes that I 
should put the prices on a post-it note on the 
douga, so when I die, she knows how much to 
sell 'em for. "I don't want to sell each one for 
$10, y'know." She's also bought me cels for 
special occasions like Xmas or b-days. Whee~ =D 
I do have to say she likes Taro the best. 
Especially Taro sales. 6_6;; (But then... who 
doesn't?)

She's a collector too (usually figurines of one 
type or another), so I think she understands 
better than anyone how obsessive I can get about 
it. She doesn't like anime, but I did manage to 
get her hooked on Fruits Basket. She wants a 
fancel of the Sheep jyunishi (who she absolutely 
adores).

As for friends... only 2 of my college buds know 
I collect. Neither of them know how much I 
spend. I ain't gonna tell 'em either.
