I get the "sell your cels now" speech all the 
time from my roommates actually ^_^  They don't 
understand how I can be in this much debt, live 
the (mainly) ghetto college life and still spend 
so much on plastic...my answer is always the 
same 'because I love cels and I love my 
collection, and I'll find some other way to get 
into debt with or without them' and at that point 
they have to agree...cause without cels I would 
just have a more pointless probably dumber money 
draining hobby ^_^;; I'm a spendaholic, at least 
I'm happy with what I spend it on right now! :) 
(and yes this may explain why I gave up being a 
business major...)  As for charities I think my 
time right now is more valuble to them than my 
money at my current income level ^^;;  

My parents were very down on my collection until 
they realized it wasn't going to be a passing 
phase...plus I knew the break had come the day my 
mother asked if she could have my Mihoshi cel 
framed and hung in her bedroom ^^

I still don't tell many people about my 
collection though, even the people I live with 
have only seen 5 or 6 cels out of the over 200 I 
own ^^;; and if I need people to appreciate my 
collection, or understand why the hell I spend 
this much money, than I always have this great 
forum and a terrific group of people here in 
Washington who just get 'it' ^_~
