I don't really get the snob reaction, but more of 
the "quit wasting your money away" reaction. 
Although, since the price on FY cels shot up, my 
mom now understands what my collection is worth 
these days. Thankfully she also collects 
figurines like mad (I think I inherited my 
collecting habits from her. ^_^;), so she can 
partly understand. But when I had first started 
out...I got so much flack for it. It took two 
years for my parents to finally realize that it 
wasn't just a silly phase.
