Yay! Another Nightycrawler fanatic! Of course I
adore the fuzzy blue one!
Myself, I actually prefer the incarnation of Kurt
from the old X-Men pilot, Pryde of the X-Men. His
90's TV incarnation was kinda...fugly at times.
His movements and bamfing action were much better
though. Pryde, in and of itself, should only be
watched for camp value. That, and Wolverine's
awful...AWFUL....voice. Here's the closest
internet equivalent of my impression of that
pilot episode:
Nightcrawler: Gutentaug, fraulein! ::leans in to
molest Kitty::
Kitty Pryde: UGLY! GET AWAY!
Wolverine: ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! KIDS!!!
Dazzler: I have awful powers! LOOK!
Professor X: I'll just....sit here and...look
disapproving.
Wolverine:
YARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! ::SNIKT!::
Nightcrawler: ;_; ::teleports and makes an awful
bointy noise::
Colossus: I GIVE YOU RUSSIAN BEAR HUG NOW!!!!
STRONG LIKE BULL!
::cue bad X-Men theme (X-MEN! X-MEN! SAVING THE
DAY!) and Stan Lee narration::
...::cough::
Yes, I am a dorky X-Men fan. And I love the
comics now that Kia Asamiya is drawing them.
Also, fact of the moment: Ultimate Nightcrawler
looks like his mother cuts his hair. Seriously.
God he's ugly.
As for Evolution, I adore it! I've searched
around for Evo art, but it's all done on the
computer, drawings and all, apparently. At least
that's what most dealers tell me.
Thanks for the link to that Nighty cel -
although, it's a repro, which I don't really go
for =^.^= I'm seriously considering it., though.
And now...enjoy some action figure mayhem!
-Misha, dorky to the extreme!
