"Wizards" was indeed scary and strange. It was
one of the wonderful works of Ralph Bakshi. He
also did the animated Lord of the Rings movie,
Cool World, The New Adventures of Mighty Mouse (a
hilarious standout during the dull cartoons of the
80's), and the infamous Fritz the Cat!
Stranger still....he sells his stuff regularly on
Ebay. Just do a search for seller "ralphbaskhi".
Most of his Wizards cels go in the $100 range.
