I agree with you, it's darn irritating.  I know 
exactly which one you mean; I frequently find 
myself laughing out loud "you MUST be mad!" when 
I see the price with markup once it gets posted.

On the other hand, think of the money you've 
saved :).  I bid what I'm willing to pay, which 
is often more than I really ought to be parting 
with to begin with.  If I lose, well...then I'm 
not out of that money. Yay! I can buy groceries! 
If I decide later on I just HAVE to have that 
cel, I know where it is and how much to plan on 
spending.

Yeah, it's still more than I bid in the first 
place, but you always have to remember the 
shipping.  Fun, wow.
