Well, the image is present in the show as 
broadcast.  (I've probably played it frame by 
frame a dozen times, as it's an amazing piece of 
animation.)  And the other two images that I got 
with the new cel are also present.  From this and 
from the typical pencilled annotations on the 
douga, I'm certain that this is the cel that went 
under the camera to make the final version of the 
show.

What I'm puzzled by is where the "A3" (and that's 
what the cel and the douga clearly say) 
in "normal" colors come from.  The colors do 
match the outfit that Sakura wears before and 
after this scene, so I don't think it was 
mispainted.  

CCS seems full of cel-collecting oddities like 
this: Black Lights, Pink-brim Princes, Nude 
Banks...  One guesses that Madhouse Studio was 
aptly named.
