I can completely relate to Ms. Poes’ recent
dealing with Splashpage. In the past I too
contacted them via email, but since I got no
response I called them many times. When I finally
got a live person to speak with me, they informed
me the cel I was interested was actually sold. Ok
fair enough if it was sold, it is gone. I thanked
them and went on my merry way. However, months
later on a whim I revisited their site and behold,
the cel was listed as still available! WTF?!

I was slightly annoyed but I tried contacting them
once more via phone since it IS considerably
faster getting an answer. When I asked about the
cel, they informed me they could not find it!
*eyes rolling* They could not find the cel I was
interested in and as such they told me again it
was unavailable for sale. Fast forward a few more
years into the future… the cel in question is
STILL there, unsold.

You just got to love their “customer service”,
regardless of who was at the helm. I spoke to a
guy who did not identify himself, but someone
transferred me to him and identified him as the
cel specialist. I look at it this way after all
these years, they still have failed to sell the
cel, largely due to their own incompetence. In my
situation they did know even know where what they
had in inventory, THAT IS completely
unprofessional. I know other people have also
inquired about the same cel, but they too have
encountered “problems” for lack of a better
description.

Ms. Poe was doing the cel community a favor by
sharing her experience and potentially warning us
of this company. Regardless if they do not
specialize in cels, they must maintain a certain
level of professionalism when dealing with
customers. It is not surprising that their cels do
not cel, they are mainly way overpriced and the
staff does not even know what they have in
inventory. I would recommend avoiding them
entirely. *thumbs down*
