Re: I would have to question that..... (Wed Apr 21 22:32:07 2004 )

This is the web page:

http://www.splashpagecomics.com/maincel.htm

And...YES...The cel has been on there for over 6
years...If I remember correctly...Even longer
than that.

I've dealt with them before once in the
past...about 6 years ago...That's why I remeber
seeing this particular cel up there...For the
same price...And from what I can remeber their
customer service was nice when I was dealing with
Sean.

I've also made offers on this cel over the past 6
years several times. All times I was replied to
by Sean...In a decent, pro manner.

However, this time...Rosemary was extremely rude
in her reply to me. From what I'm hearing from
many others...They've had similar experiences as
well...Which is NOT a good way to do business.

As far as my original e-mail goes:

"Hello!

You've had this cel on your site for over 6 years
now, and it still hasn't sold:

http://www.splashpagecomics.com/cels/######.jpg

I was wondering if you'd accept an offer of
$225.00 for it? I can pay ASAP if you are
willing! Otherwise, is there another possible
price you may be willing to deal with?

Thanx!

~Sarah #"

What it all comes down to is this:

I've never been rude in any of my mails to them,
or gotten any back until my dealings with
Rosemary. Even IF it wasn't SEAN...This Rosemary
represents his business.

So, good...You have had nice experiences with
them. But, a good chunk of their cels are
overpriced...And, haven't been updated in ages.
Just cause' it says series updated
#/#/03...Doesn't mean everything on that page is
new...

You're just one person...Not everyone has the
same experiences as another person. Even if
you've bought a lot of cels with them...And are
on thier "good dealings" list...Doesn't mean
another person who bought one cel in the past, or
hasn't even bought one at all should be treated
any differently.

It's their own business...Let them run it how
they want...But they won't have my business...And
it seems like a lot of other people's business as
well...AAnd that's gonna be their choice.
