Only if it is a friend I would be bidding
against. Obviously, a friendship is worth more
than a cel, but normally friends have some kind
of system worked out. I know a couple other
people who I consider friends and have helped get
Yahoo Japan IDs. Basically, if we see each other
in the bidders list, we stay away. But if it is a
big lot, a lot of times we see if the other
person wants to split it.
For anyone else, I really don't care. If I want
the cel, or anything else for that matter, I will
bid on it. I don't care if it is someone else's
wishlist. I don't even look at other people's
wishlists anyways, so I wouldn't know if it was.
I don't owe it to anyone else not to bid, and
they certainly don't owe it to me. I rarely ever
buy cels and when I do, it is something I really
want. I especially don't owe it to US bidders on
Yahoo Japan who buy up a whole bunch of stuff and
then sell it a month or two later in a "oops
spent too much money" sale in which the cels are
marked up considerably. I have no problem with
importing to make money, just be honest about it. |
