And there's currently someone on this board being 
verrrrrry kind to me at the moment. *g*

But I tend to do that with another individual, 
whether it's wishlist or not. And sometimes, if 
she mentions that the current high bidder such-
and-such is one of her friends, I'll let 
something slide, or let them know, "Hey, I'm 
going to back off this one-- move in if you want 
to."

I'm very pleased with the arrangement for a 
number of reasons. The most mercenary reason is 
that she could easily outbid me on a number of 
what I want, but without squabbling over them in 
a series of messy bidding wars, we both manage to 
get good cels and keep them within reasonable 
price ranges. ^_^ The number of people I need 
to "watch out" for is lowered. And because I've 
promised not to encroach, I can sit back and be 
happy that someone else is getting good cels, 
rather than thinking, "That could've been 
*mine*!" :o) There's been a glut in the market 
recently, and enough to go around. ^_^ But 
despite all the financial benefits, my favorite 
result is that I'm able to keep it in good fun, 
and can be happy for others' good luck with their 
collections.
