I almost always do that too, back off of auctions 
that I know people want more than I do.  I also 
look at the wishlists of almost everyone out 
there.  I've pointed out many a dreamcel for 
other people :).  If I know someone wants 
something really badly, I will not go for it 99% 
of the time.  If the same cel is on my very small 
wishlist, I might go for it, but 9 x out of 10, I 
wont.  I also believe in karma.....big time ^_~
