I forgot about that part!

I also collect because I have such respect for 
the art.  As an artist myself, I know how much 
work goes into making an animation.  The prospect 
of owning a tiny piece of the art from a show 
that was made with over 10,000 cels makes one 
feel quite special. Its like owning just one 
star...out of a whole sky full of them. I too 
collect cels of characters that have a very 
special meaning to me.  These characters are made 
of paint and plastic...much like real people are 
made of flesh and bone.  Owning the cel...really 
IS like owning a piece of the character.  Like 
they are there looking only at you, for you, and 
thanking you for your love for them :).  Almost 
every cel I have has a good reason attatched to 
it.  Most of the characters I own remind me of 
people I once knew, or of myself.
