I mean, I've been surfing rinkya to get scans of 
chobits posters and stuff to do a couple of cels 
from, which I'll eventually post on my website 
and people will probably download them and maybe 
use then as desktops or something.

When artbooks come out, obviously I'll buy them, 
but this is the only way I can find most of this 
stuff right now.  

I know, I know, 'cels are different etc etc etc' 
Well what about displaying a cel from an image 
gallery provided as an extra on a DVD that no one 
has yet?  so there's no specific person who can 
say 'that's my cel' right now, but one were, 
would they still be able to complain since I got 
it off legit merchandise and not from their own 
scans?

The problem is, you have to draw the line 
SOMEWHERE, and you can't just draw the line 
arbitrarily at a place that makes you comfortable 
and expect other people to live by it because 
what's good for you isn't necessarily good for 
everyone.
