And I'm not sure what updates you are talking
about. Got some examples?
I see updates occurring at every hour of the day.
I catch some, others I don't. What kind of
pattern are you seeing? If I had to make a
generalization, updates on the East Coast happen
in the evening, so we are more likely to be awake
and catch them. And Japan is 16 hours ahead of
us, so forget trying to make any assumptions about
their update times relative to a specific time
zone over here.
If you really want to catch updates so badly, I
have two suggestions:
1) It seems like you are talking about certain
sites with certain prices---have you tried
e-mailing them to ask about future site updates.
Nick, of Animechaos, is an example of someone who
regularly posts very accurate predictions of his
update times.
2) This may sound simple, but check sites more
often. Even a slow internet connection like mine
can allow me to do a quick check of the Keep Track
page in a couple of minutes. And I can crawl out
of bed and spare those two minutes without harming
my sleep. If you really watch a site (like you
seem to be) you can probably predict the hour of
the day they will update, so you can set your
clock.
I hope that was as constructive as you wanted.
It would help people take you more seriously if
you use your real name, IMHO.
In short, don't rant about your time zone. Learn
and adapt.
Good luck.
