I think I told this story before a long time
ago, but... ^.~

House of Anime, an anime store near me, used to
have anime cels (framed) up on their walls.
They had cels from the 1st episode of Sailor Moon,
chibi Gohan powering up (DBZ), an awesome
Devil Hunter Yohko of Yohko being pierced through
by a monster, a multi-layered Ranma 1/2... etc
etc I could go on all day.  =)  Anyway... they
ALSO had flourescent lighting.  The cels 
remained hanging on the wall for at least 4-5
years...

And after that time, some of the cels had no
trace lines left.  NONE.  The Sailor Moon 1st
episode one (made me cry) was just a blob of
colored paint with no outlines.  And the ones 
tucked into corners or partially behind stuff
also had trace-lines missing from the areas
that had the most exposure to the light (the 
rest of the lines, if they were present, were
very faded).

I wish I would've taken pictures... it would've
been a great lesson to sober up collectors to
the danger of improper display methods.  But
they finally took them down (when, in my mind,
those beautiful and rare cels were completely
worthless) so it's too late for pictures now...

I wouldn't be surprised to learn that this one
was displayed/stored like that at one point...
it strongly resembles the way those cels looked...
