but when you see your bid get knock by  less 
than 50 cents and you're powerless to do  
anything. Also factor in when regular YJ users   
price was sitting at  half that for 4 days on up 
to 10 mins before the end . ...I think that   
justifies fustration. 

That's not rape.  That's just how auctions work.  
Cel collectors in particular tend to wait till the 
last minute to bid, esp. on YJ auctions when 
you've got your various deputy bidders waiting for 
the last hour.  Yeah, every one of us out here's 
probably seen an auction go by where they thought 
"if only I'd bid five, ten bucks more," and it's 
frustrating, yes.  But that's the nature of 
auctions: it just means you've got the extra cash 
on hand for the next cool thing you see.
