I'm well aware that they're legal in Hong Kong. I
also know that Hong Kong has absolutely ZERO
respect for foreign copyrights. (Sincere
apologies to anyone on this Forum actually from
Hong Kong - I'm am not making a statement about
the people, only the legalities of certain
things!! ^_^) Those bootleg CDs that you just
cut down in your letter - the titles released by
SM (aka Son May) and Ever Anime - are also legal
in Hong Kong. Hong Kong does not send royalties
to the creators of the series for any of those
things, CDs, VCDs, or whatnot. Disney has been
having a hell of a time with it for decades
now. . . I think the Japanese are soon going to
start feeling some of the same pains Disney has,
if they haven't already. ~_~ All the more reason
for us to look for REAL legal goods. Legal in
Hong Kong doesn't count for anything, IMHO.
