Hello!
Hmm.... disposable accounts to trash this
dirtbag's auctions... Sounds tempting. ^_^ I
hate to admit it but I feel particularly vengeful
because I'm so disgruntled about the misuse of my
scans, particularly the one with my URL on it!
(getting awfully tired of people emailing me to
ask if that's -me- auctioning the cel)
Still, it's not something I would want to resort
to. I've tried contacting some of the bidders but
as quickly as I send off emails, more new bidders
appear. So many people wanting to get in on a
good deal. When someone thinks they can get
something for nothing, they tend not to see the
obvious probability of a scam. For example the
Laker bidder placed his/her bid despite the fact
the bid history already had a number of
retractions. It could be that they didn't look,
but I know I would have checked to see the bid
history for a cel of obvious value only going for
less than a hundred dollars with only a day left.
*sigh* And I can only imagine the last minute
bidding that may occur. But several of the
bidders have emailed me to say that they finally
retracted their bids because they received
numerous emails about the fraudulent auctions.
So, at least that tactic is rendering some
successful results. Good work everyone, thanks
for the help. I probably wouldn't have noticed
the auctions until after the fact since I don't
check eBay frequently. Glad there are so many
observant people around. :)
Take care,
