Yahoo has better safeguards [for sellers] than
evilBay now probably b/c of the problems - like
requiring cc# to bid, etc. ^_^
Here's an idea - it's a PAIN, but it might be
worth it.
If you have a simple paint program (well, one
that supports percent-transparency), edit all your
high-ticket images - I'm not talking about just
"stamping" with your URL - I mean if you're
selling, place text on the image stating something
like "not for auction." If you then go to auction,
type the AUCTION#, DATES, and maybe your ID on
the image itself.
It's easy to rip off images - heck, bandwidth
steal - but more work to remove text without the
image looking like crap.
