My husband was frauded in an Ebay auction which 
he had paid for via Paypal. Paypal did absolutely 
*nothing* to help us. The only reply we got from 
them was "we are not an escrow service". If a 
deal paid for via Paypal goes bad, you will have 
to deal with it through your credit card company, 
not through Paypal.
