Sounds like the arguments from Seduction of the 
Innocents. According to your logic, if you read 
comic books, enjoy scenes of people flying, 
you're going to go on the roof of your house and 
try it for yourself. Not an epidemic. EC horror 
comics would turn people into bloody maniacs, but 
according to the statistics, when they were at 
their height, there was a DROP in the murder 
rate. 

The point is that most people can differentiate 
between fantasy and reality and know that the two 
shall never meet. The only people who can't make 
this distinction are people into censorship and 
individuals with mental problems.
