Give me a break. Why would a payment plan be 
offensive? Gee, maybe it's because they are nice 
cels, and expensive. MANY expensive items are 
bought using a payment plan. What do you think a 
credit card is? Granted there are interest fees 
involved, but the priciple is the same. Most 
people cannot afford to pay out large sums of 
money at one time. Desperation isn't an issue, 
smart management of funds is a more accurate 
description.
