Well, AIC made around 25 different types of
Ah! My Goddess reproduction cels that selling at the con
several years ago. The problem is the reproduction cels
look almost the same as the original, it's really hard to
tell the difference. The reproduction ones are usually
the good looking ones, like close-up, half body shots..etc.
If it looks too good to be true, it's probably the
reproduction one. Also, you may want to take a close look
of the black ink lines around the image. I have compared
with a few original ones, they tend to have smoother
black ink lines, but the reproduction cels tend to have
the lines more choppier and faded. They might use cheaper
inks for the reproduction cels. This is just my
observation, it may not be true.
The reproduction cels are all made for the three goddesses.
I didn't remember they made any for the male and
other characters. If you want a AMG cel that used in
the anime production, you can get a male character cel
instead, like Keiichi. |
