One of the most common questions I am asked when I
meet people online is "What does your screen name
mean?"

It really doesn't "mean" anything actually. It has
become my online name over the years. It is
pronounced "Spin - is - way" and I'm very
particular about that! lol

About 10 years ago when the internet really became
public and chat rooms started to sprout, I wanted
a screen name that didn't involve numbers and
wouldn't be repeated by someone else (i.e.
heavenangel, heavensangel, heavenangel13...etc).
So I was sitting in graphic design class, staring
at the ceiling whilst trying to conjur up a name.
Literally out of nowhere, "spinizuey" struck me
and I wrote it down. It's been my screen name -
absolutely everywhere - since then. Ebay, forums,
groups, my website... everywhere.

I've met a lot of people at conventions, and they
usually recognize my screen name. Mostly in the
art areas, interestingly.

Common versions of my screen name include 'Spin'
and 'Spini' and 'Spini-CHAN', which I like. A less
common version is
"sentientspinachpastawithcatliketendancies", but I
like that one a lot too ;)

*whew*
This is actually a fun thread to read. I love
learning about other people's screen names :)
